Check out our [last feature update](https://blog.cattler.farm/feature-update-jan-feb-2026?hsLang=en). --- ### ๐Ÿšช Chute 2.0: a complete renovation We gave the Chute a full renovation: Chute 2.0 is here. - **New design** โ€” a full redesign of the screen: simpler, clearer, with information within easy reach. - **Free Hands Flow** โ€” work without touching the tablet: the animal's data saves automatically every time a new electronic tag or weight is read. Turn it on from the Identification tab when creating the chute order. - **More flexibility**: - Process animals that show up in the chute but weren't part of the original order. - Handle animals you can't identify in the moment. Here's how it works: 1. Mark the animal as "Unidentified" and keep processing normally. 2. Finish processing the rest of the order โ€” say, 100 animals total: 99 identified, 1 unidentified. 3. Cattler flags which animal from the original order never went through the chute. 4. Link that flagged animal to the "Unidentified" one to complete the record. - **Animal Profile access** โ€” pull up an animal's profile right from the chute to review its history and decide on the spot. - **Editable summary** โ€” open any already-processed animal and edit any field. - **Sorting: alternative gates** โ€” manual gate options let you sort animals into pens outside your usual sorting criteria, right on the spot. - **Animal Health integration** โ€” add a treatment for the whole lot directly when creating the chute order, no need to schedule it in advance. - **Better connectivity** โ€” faster, more stable direct Bluetooth connections to scale heads, no Cattler link box required. - **Local data saving** โ€” everything now saves locally on the tablet until processing wraps up, so you won't lose data if it powers off. Check out our latest webinar: --- ### ๐Ÿฉบ Animal Health (AH) Since the release of the renewed Animal Health section, we've kept making it better. - We gave treatments more flexibility, letting you apply one without requiring a diagnosis first. - The AH Overview tab is now available on mobile, so you can check on your herd's health from anywhere, anytime. --- ### ๐ŸŽ Pen Rider - The operator's name now shows on Animal Profile history cards, so you and your team stay connected and accountable at all times. - Activate a feeding schedule on your lots and the Days to Ship field will automatically appear on the Animal Profile. - You can now backdate railers directly from the Pen Rider. --- ### ๐Ÿ“Š Reports We gave the Reports section a full makeover โ€” a refreshed look, plus two new buttons: **Advanced Options**, where you can choose which columns to show, pin them, and sort them; and **Table Filters**, letting you filter by any column. We also leveled up these reports: - Livestock market value report โ€” now includes totalizers. - Yardsheet report โ€” now shows feed conversion (DM). - Feed deliveries report โ€” now includes the ration + ingredients option. - Inventory usage report โ€” download your stock as a PDF whenever you need it. Plus a brand-new report: - Individual animals report โ€” see all the information at the individual animal level. --- ### ๐Ÿ„ Cattle Management **Lot Merge** โ€” a big one. Got several lots or sub-lots in the same pen? Here's how it works: 1. From the pen, select "Merge Lot." 2. Cattler creates a new lot from the animals in that pen. 3. Historical costs transfer automatically, weighted by head count. 4. Assign owners to the new lot. --- ### ๐ŸŒพ Feeding Several updates landed in Feeding to make your day-to-day smoother. - Feeding log timestamps now show exactly when loading or dropping started and finished, ingredient by ingredient and pen by pen. - Delete all L&D orders at once โ€” no more clearing them one by one. - Weight recalculation is now instant when you change a feed's NEM and NEG values โ€” no more waiting for the overnight recalculation. A long-standing request, finally solved! โœ… - Bunk Score: you can now see which feeding protocol each pen is on, and delete notes.ย  --- ### ๐Ÿ“‹ Yardsheet - A new carousel lets you move between pens more quickly. - The Hospital Pen is now visible too โ€” enter and track its feeding just like any other pen. --- ### ๐Ÿ“ฆ Inventory - Vet product inventories now let you set a default dosage per drug, speeding up treatments and cutting down on mistakes. - Price backdating โ€” until now only available for feed stock โ€” now covers medicines too. - Add or adjust feed stock for any date, and choose to average the new stock's price or replace it entirely. --- ### ๐Ÿ’ณ Billing Billing is getting a full renewal, and it's already underway.
